Our Projects
Check-in
This project focusses on the wellbeing of male sexual abuse survivors. An "opt in" messaging service that will provide survivors with personalised contact, which will help with feelings of isolation. This voluntary service will send out messages to survivors at a designated time during the day to "check in" and provide them with the opportunity to mark themselves as "safe". Eventually this service will be provided via a specially designed app.

It would also provide them the opportunity to meet other survivors in a safe and non-judgmental environment. The group will be open to survivors that are currently attending therapy and will also be available via the internet to those who cannot attend due to distance or other factors. A psychologist will be on hand for professional support in case it is needed.

Male sexual abuse documentary
This project would focus on delivering Australia’s first investigative Documentary into males sexual abuse in the home. The Documentary will also look at the Government response to males sexual abuse in the home and what services and funding they provide.
Most importantly of all, it will interview male sexual abuse survivors who are willing to tell there stories in a safe environment, shedding a major light and insight into male sexual abuse.
The cost of this project will hopefully be covered by the grant process through the Australian Film Industry.
